The Programs & Resources Department (P&R) is the main staff agency responsible for the development, defense, and management of Marine Corps financial requirements, policies and programs to support the Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC). The Deputy Commandant (DC) P&R is the main advisor to the CMC on all financial matters and serves as the CMC’s principal spokesperson on USMC program and budget issues.^[2]
