Kennedy Space Center (KSC)
Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is perhaps NASA’s most well-known complex. Located at Cape Canaveral, Florida, KSC is the site of all U.S. manned spaceflight launches and many unmanned probe and satellite launches, starting in the early days from Project Mercury to the Space Shuttle Program and International Space Station, and from the Hubble Space Telescope to the Mars rovers.
KSC is involved in a number of programs and initiatives including Commercial Crew Program, Exploration Ground Systems, Launch Services Program, Educational Launch of Nanosatellites, Research and Technology, and Station Payloads.
